7 HABITS FOR HIGHLY EFFECTIVE PEOPLE






Experienced and emerging leaders will learn a set of tools to help them handle current management challenges, including:

CONFLICT RESOLUTION






The class will introduce the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode (TKI) that will assist in the understanding of how different conflict-handling styles affect interpersonal and group dynamics.



Participants will be become aware of how they handle conflict and if they are over or under using certain conflict resolution modes within their environment. Problem solving techniques will also be covered.



EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EQ)





Participants will complete a self assessment and learn the four parts of the emotional intelligence model which are based on a connection of what people perceive opposed to what they actually do internally as well as with others.


The class will cover what influences an assessment score and how to improve EQ through self awareness strategies (Identifying values, Seeking external feedback, and Leaning into their discomfort). ​


The class will also cover strategies for the other three parts of emotional intelligence: Self Management, Social Awareness and Relationship Management. Unlike an IQ, EQ is an adaptable leadership skill which a person can improve with focus, desire, and practice.



GENERATIONS IN THE WORKPLACE





The class will cover how to bridge the generational gaps and the differences amongst the generational groups (characteristic, work expectations, and added value).


Participants will learn about team engagement, building stronger teams, and problem solving.
